Autumn in the plus size fashion world

Whether we like it or not our summer seems to have disappeared and it is time to overhaul the autumn wardrobe.
For women sized 18 plus it is never as easy as just heading for the shops and hoping fashionable large size collections will be waiting for them. The quality clothes market still offers a poor choice for plus sized women and the high street has a dearth of well fitting, fashionable ranges on offer.

Fortunately independent stores fill some of the gap although some areas are still badly served. Here in the midlands our store in Coventry attracts customers from a wide area and is well known for its offer of stylish, high quality fashion in sizes 18-30.

One of the problems for women with curves is that they feel an obligation to try to lose weight and because of that can be reluctant to buy lovely clothes now. It is a big mistake to put off looking good in the hope of a slimmer future. Experience has shown us that whilst some women do achieve their aim of weight loss they still feel better if they look good whilst they are doing it, and it has also shown us that many do not lose weight and feel doubly miserable because they have not invested in their appearance and their self esteem is low.

The message is that we can look good whatever our size and pride in  our appearance is something that we can all have, curves or not. So back to those autumn fashions………
